Cold wave duo The KVB have shared the title track of their upcoming album, ‘Tremors’. It’s a uniquely cool track, with a mesmeric wash of synths supporting rigid electronic beats and staccato guitars, with a calmly dystopian vocal at the top. The track switches moods seamlessly, with the warm darkness of its verses contrasting the shimmering melodies of its instrumental sections. The pair say the track is “about defiance in the face of crushing waves of change. Sometimes embracing and accepting its fate, but also concern for the uncertainties of the future.” Keep an eye out for their forthcoming album, Tremors, which is due for release on April 5th, 2024. -Dan Peeke
